Rick, thank you for your comment.
I'm truly happy that you felt uplifted by reading this. And yes, it's important to remind ourselves of what's important. Because otherwise it's hard to stay aware and wise. It's all a practise.
It all starts from within right? So if we fill ourselves up with love, appreciation and compassion we can give so much more to others. Keep commenting Rick, I really appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

Let me be the first to thank you for your contribution to humanity Selma. This is beautiful message, as were your others also. Yes, appreciation for others does begin at home. So I knew this, but you didn't let me forget it again. Sometimes to keep our heads up about life we must lift up others. Thanks for lifting me up when I needed it. And though it seems a little hollow to be appreciated only by yourself, if you are truly honest with yourself, it can be just what you need to keep being good to others. I got a similar message from the Kind Acts site too. Rick
